Teenage Literary Work - A Renaissance

The web is a wonderful place as it's an automatic garbage collector. There are things you can find on the web which you thought had disappeared forever.

One of these crap collectors is the WayBack machine, but alas,  it doesn't seem to have archived my New Communist Revolution page I made back in the mid 90's - dead serious! No remnants of Szronik's Papers - a website on which I unintentionally promoted plagiarism by posting my high school essays.

Yet I did find something which brought back memories of the darkest sort. Since I never really had my way with the girls and usually tucked my tail between my hind legs (or the front ones I suppose)...I wrote poetry.

Now do keep in mind that I was a teenager at the time and the funny thing is I used to insert apostrophes when writing I am, as in "I'am". I don't know how I managed to get away with it, but it wasn't until my senior year of high school that someone (my English lit teacher) had noticed.

Anyway, here they are:

Full of Emptiness

War of Humanity

The first one is depressing, the second one is as true as ever. They're both quite simply written, but they're a part of who I was and who I am today.
